A Special Barmouth Barker Service headed by 37 427 'Bont-y-Bermo' heralded the first locomotive-hauled train north of Barmouth Bridge for decades. Passengers were delighted to find a train service operating on our line to mark the event.

Class 37 No.37 427 'Bont-y-Bermo' is at the head of this Special as it returns Porthmadog and thence to journey south then east to England once more.
