The Traeth Mawr temporary loop site now has complete ballast along its entire length. The 'Welsh Matterhorn', Cnicht is directly ahead; to its right, the Croesor valley seems always to be in shadow. Although the Croesor Tramway headed up the Croesor Valley, the WHR branched off left and made for the pass that can clearly be seen on the left. More history & route description. Andy Goodwin | |
